Movie Script for this Summer’s Blockbuster Hollywood Movie:
Dr M’s unnaturally long life was the result of a curse placed by the Spirit of the Moon, Nik Aziz, that he may walk the earth forever till he sees the Monster of BN fall. In his later years the doctor would grow weary of life, yet life would not leave him. His heart had stopped beating on multiple occasions, and yet by the power of the IJN, it continued.
When the Rainbow Avatar, Anwar Ibrahim, found his powers outmatched by BN in the satay fields of Kajang, Dr M realized that salvation will never come from the hands of Heroes, no matter how Bersih they are. For no hero can oppose the might of the C4 Detonation Lady Rosmah, or the armies of the Federal Reserve Unit.
I built this monster, Dr M realized. Through it I ruled the Multiracial Land by Divide and Conquer. I have moved on, but the monster continues. Only in me is there power to unmake it.
Visiting the Citadel of the Lims, Dr M apologized for all the blood he has spilled. And for putting both of them in jail previously. “If I save the country from the God of Negativity, Najib, will I finally rest in peace?” The Lims answered.
“For half a century we have fought the likes of You. We’ve always lost. Yet now is no time to revisit past quarrels. You are the only one of us who cannot be killed or imprisoned. For you are 92 years old. The protective magic of Public Opinion will not allow BN to harm you.”
And so Dr M received the Flaming Sword of 1MDB to fight the darkness.
“You cannot win,” the Prophets at Merdeka Centre said. “The monster has grown too strong even for the likes of you. And there is a Spoiler, the Taliban fanatics, who will complicate things for you.”
“If I lose, I die. Which is good. I have been trying to rest for some time. But the spirits of those I murdered won’t let me join them. I am cursed. A terrible curse.”
Dr M drew his sword and struck the gates of Johor. The birthplace of BN has never been breached, and yet it could not hold back the doctor’s tsunami. The water overflowed into the Nine Pocket Realms, and they too were overcome despite not being the target. Najib could only look on in shock.
BN’s own BR1M counterattacks in Selangor and Penang were easily stopped. The Lims could not be bribed. And Azmin Ali could, but the price was not high enough.
The God of Negativity, Najib, called out to Dr M. “You cannot win. For I have gerrymandered the crap out of Sabah and Sarawak. They will keep my power alive.”
Dr M answered.
“Oh my sweet summer child, my former apprentice, I taught you everything you know about gerrymandering. You will need more skills than that to deal with the likes of Me. “
Najib looked at Sabah again, and was surprised to see an unknown army of Warisan natives suddenly materialize out of the forest to wreak havoc. Where did these monkeys come from, Najib wondered. Now I cannot retreat there.
“Take me north”, Dr M commanded his GrabCar driver. “Take me to Langkawi.”
As he travelled along the North-South Highway Dr M saw a commotion. He asked his taxi driver what is going on.
“The people have rebelled against BN rule, doctor. They heard about what you did in Johor and overthrew their masters here.”
“And where exactly is here?”
“Malacca.” At this Dr M’s aged lips curled into a smile. The oldest state in the Multiracial Lands. Fitting tribute to an old man like him.
“Reports are Perak is in rebellion too, doctor.” Dr M scoffed. “Perak is always in rebellion. But did they win?”
“No doctor. They destroyed BN there but were unable to take over. So it’s lawless now.”
“That works. Anarchists remaining in anarchy. Many frogs there. You can never stop a frog from jumping.”
Dr M arrived in Langkawi, Kedah to be welcomed by a massive crowd of Hopeful Warriors. “Citizens, I was born in this state. Hence here is where the final battle will take place.”
BN’s forces soon arrived. A huge army of water cannons, riot gear, and corrupt lawyers. Even The Third Force, The Taliban, appeared. Everyone is here, Dr M realized. He looked into the shadows and realized even the dead are here. He could almost see the face of the late Nik Aziz.
Dr M raised the sword of 1MDB against the darkness, sighed, and then casually dropped it. For righteousness, hope, love, none of these have power here. This is my birthplace. The Rice Shadow Lands. I cannot fight using 1MDB.
“How will you defeat two armies without a weapon, Dr M?” Najib sneered.
“You think Death is your ally, Najib. And yet Death runs from me. I cannot be killed. I’ve tried, and yet it eludes me.”
Dr M then took on the combined armies of BN and the Taliban by himself. As the minions soon discovered, they could not do anything to him. Their ranks slowly dwindled. The fight went on all night. BN still had power in the morning but they realized it would be an endless war against the doctor.
“Its time to surrender. You know how this ends. Drag it out if you want, but you’ve already lost everywhere except in two states. Perlis, the tiny kingdom. Pahang, the national park. It is almost cute.”
Dr M even allowed himself the privilege of laughing like a supervillain for a bit. Hey, I am not a hero. Saving the Multiracial Lands is just an ironic twist of fate.
Najib trembled in fear as he knew what had to be done. The doctor was far too powerful for him and there was no weapon evil enough to unseat him. The master of evil, now the master of good also. The only man fit to rule the Multiracial Lands.
“I surrender. Now do I go to jail?”
“No. At least, not yet. I am finally free of my curse. I declare a day of Rest.”
As the two Lim knights appeared in the horizon, coming to escort the victorious Dr M to the capital, the doctor had one last thought.

Tony Fernandes, the PR Opportunist: a Costly Lesson in Integrity By Robert Chaen
“He who holds the ladder is as bad as the thief (proverb)”.
As Malaysians we are very disappointed with Tony Fernandes. The Rakyat (citizen) doesn’t respect people who support and protect a kleptocrat who allegedly stole US$4.5b. This is an integrity issue.
Tony Fernandes is covering his ass with his recent PR video because he has angered many Malaysians and AirAsia customers. He is just a clever and savvy businessman who sees a PR opportunity to regain customers and stock-price, and regain his broken reputation and public trust.
Fernandes said “the video which I felt was fairly neutral and factual”. How is it neutral and factual when he publicly supported a kleptocrat, went way overboard by redecorating a plane with full Barisan Nasional GE14 slogan livery and changed the cabin crew’s uniform to blue (the color for BN). He also knew all the media will report on this nationwide. It was political.
This was definitely set up to influence voters for Najib. Who knows how many last minute undecided voters were influenced by Fernandes’ campaigning for Najib.
AirAsia has an extremely strict written clause in its staff contract that disallowed them from campaigning for any political party. As CEO of AirAsia he had breached AirAsia own SOP HR policy where the uniform of the cabin crew should not be used for any party’s political campaign.
Fernandes has every right to vote for whoever he wants – but not openly campaigning for political parties under the AirAsia umbrella, wearing AirAsia logo, cap, or uniform.
Before this, Fernandes was one of the most admired Malaysian CEOs but this big blunder will haunt him for a long time.
He is not as innocent and sincere as he portrays.
He did not walk his talk.
He campaigned for corruption-tainted Shahrizat Abdul Jalil in GE 2008 and Raja Nong Chik in GE 2013 in Lembah Pantai Constituency against Nurul Izzah Anwar (opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim’s daughter).
He played badminton and openly supported the Bentong MP, Liow Tiong La (Head of MCA) in 2 May 2018. This was 10 years of consistent ‘misjudgment’ campaigning for political parties by Fernandes – against AirAsia’s HR policy.
Fernandes paid glowing tribute to the leadership of Datuk Seri Najib Razak and named him “Father of Low Cost Air Travel” (28 February 2018). He ‘campaigned’ for Najib WEEKS before the GE14 date was announcedand before AAX chairman Rafidah spoke up against Najib and BN, and supported Mahathir and the then opposition.
‘He had no choice’. I don’t buy that argument.
The following Malaysians and foreigners had been banned, jailed, persecuted, sacked, humiliated, business lost or closed down, and heavily pressured by a tyrannical and kleptocratic government for standing for their principles and against kleptocracy: Jahabar Sadiq (Editor of defunct The Malaysian Insider; all 56 staff lost their jobs because MCMC banned access to their website), Clare Rewcastle Brown (Editor of Sarawak Report was a key catalyst who spend countless months exposing Najib & Taib Mahmud – without any pay; her website was banned in Malaysia), Xavier Justo (jailed for more than 1 year in Thailand), Zunar, Lim Guan Eng, Anwar Ibrahim, Lim Kit Siang, Muhyiddin Yassin (sacked as DPM), Adam Adli, Fahmi Reza, Maria Chin, Rafizi Ramli, Tony Pua (dozen others with passport banned), Robert Kuok, countless unnamed and unsung heroes who had hardly any social status but principles. Many lost their jobs, and some lost nearly everything.
The unsung heroes all had a CHOICE.
They stood up for their principles but got punished severely as a result of their stand in life.
Tony Fernandes, your principles and integrity should be bigger than your ‘AsiaAsia baby’, job, and money.
If Fernandes was really threatened by Mavcom to cancel additional flights on election day and was threatened to sack the AAX chairman Rafidah, he should have revealed to the media and the public would have risen up to defend Fernandes from being threatened.
[update on 16.05.2018: Mavcom made a police report that they did not threaten with GE14 additional flight cancellation; Fernandes and AA have still not given any proof but instead declared there is no need for Mavcom. Someone is lying, and you know who]
By most analytical surveys, he bet Najib Razak would win big so he supported Najib publicly to curry favors from the government later.
When Tun Dr Mahathir won, he immediately switched tune like his Tune Talk (sorry for the pun), and dumped Najib.
He even exaggerated “it is still the happiest moment of my life that we have a new Malaysia.” Really? I thought his wedding last year was the happiest moment of his life. Rather it is more like this is still his biggest mistake of his life that he went against the building of a new Malaysia.
His whole body language, slip of tongue, and tone of voice in the video betrayed his sincerity. His video appeared to be more of a justification and PR soft sell, rather than an apology. Had Najib won, I seriously doubt he would have made this apology.
The reality is Tony Fernandes was a huge sell-out in the biggest moment of modern Malaysian history. He did not buckled. He knew exactly what he was doing. He did not own up but choose to justify his actions. He was covering his ass with his apology video.
He will soon be a cheerleader for Tun Dr Mahathir and PH, because he wants to curry favors and approvals from the new government (now that’s nothing wrong with that – one needs to work with the government of the day. But here we are talking about integrity and supporting a kleptocrat). Hopefully all are forgotten in time. Fernandes is after all a PR opportunist.
In the future PR experts will be evaluating Fernandes’ 2 videos whether it was a PR disaster, or not; and how many people would actually believe his political spin and BS. Eventually Malaysians will forget and probably forgive Fernandes and fly AirAsia. But for now, Fernandes will feel the wrath of the Rakyat. And he will have to live with this black mark for the rest of his life.
He should have own up the truth, come clean, stop the BS, and move on. I hope Fernandes, supporters and collaborators of kleptocrats and tyrants will learn from the costly lesson in integrity.
“The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it.” (author unknown)
I wish Fernandes and Malaysians all the best in the new Malaysia era. After all, Malaysia now need every willing body including Tony Fernandes to re-build the new Malaysia Boleh.

Brenda and I used to write Love Notes to each other. I just found some of Brenda’s Love Notes to me somewhere in her folders. Her nickname for me is Boopy, hee hee.
I made our self-designed marriage vows with Brenda that in sickness and in healthI would take good care of her, and vice versa.
She had Crohn’s disease for 20 years, and died from it (perforated intestines) in 2013. Crohn’s disease is a very rare inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). It causes inflammation of the digestive tract, which can lead to abdominal pain, severe diarrhea, fatigue, weight loss and malnutrition.
When I first met her in 1994 in a spiritual workshop in Hong Kong, she already had Crohn’s disease but it was not diagnosed for more than 1 year. She was one of the first Hong Kongers to be diagnosed with Crohn’s disease.
When she had a bad episode she would vomit more than 10 times per day, and diarrhea too. Her inflamed intestines could only absorb a fraction of nutrients which resulted her being very skinny (some people mistook it for anorexia). Her lowest weight was 32 kilograms (72 lbs) – seeing her so thin was too unbearable.
Because of Crohn’s she always had a slight fever – the faulty gene trick the body that it is under attack, and fever is the body’s natural defense against infection. Andrew, my doctor brother describes Crohn’s as a ‘mini-SARS’, an over-immunity. It’s like the over-immunity is ‘shooting’ inside its own internal body through fever, and rejecting even water or food as an enemy resulting in diarrhea and vomiting – on both ends of the digestive system. If SARS is like an assault rifle then Crohn’s is like a handgun shooting single shots inside the body.
The good thing was she didn’t get flu.
But Brenda didn’t let Crohn’s disease define her. Most friends, clients, and graduates were not aware of her sickness and regular pain. She didn’t whine or complain. Her Adversity Quotient was very high (dealing with crises and daily adversities).
I would cook for us, and mainly I would go out and bring cooked food home. In Malaysia I would cycle in the hot mid-day sun to bring her favorite food. Sometimes she would not eat what she ordered as it was not going down well.
I couldn’t understand why she couldn’t force herself to eat in our early years… until one day when I had a bad diarrhea, fatigued, I didn’t want to eat anything, and was turned off by the very sight of any food. She said that’s how she felt when she was not well.
I would massage her to relieve her pain. Or make a hot water bag for her tummy.
For the longest time I felt so helpless that I couldn’t do enough to relieve her suffering from Crohn’s disease. But she told me that all my little gestures, massages, and kind, encouraging words helped her a great deal.
She helped countless friends, family, relatives, people and graduates in her life. But only a tiny handful really knew she needed help too. Because she appeared so strong and invincible, when she was in her own really down periods, no one came and helped her. They were ‘too busy’ to notice, caught up in their own worlds. Friends were in denial that sometimes she too needed help. She felt so abandonedin those times of great need.
I know what she felt.
Taking care of Brenda was one of my biggest life lessons.
It gave me meaning and purpose.
Brenda inspired me to have unconditional love, truth, and light.
She continues to inspire me from The Afterlife.
I married Brenda for true love – not for beauty, lust, money, power, greed, status, security, heritage, or control.
I was actually more of a house-husband and I was happy playing the role. We were Co-Coaches in ChangeU for 12 years (2000 to 2012) and she was my business partner.
Happy Anniversary Brenda I love you so much. Thank you for taking good care of me, my Guardian Angel, my Twin Soul.
NOTE: Most regular cult members are expected to follow all the strict discipline and strict cult instructions from Cult Leaders and Seniors. But not all cult members are strong in following all discipline, regular classes, proselytizingservice.
There are many different levels of cult members – from VIP-Celebrity types who don’t follow any cult strict discipline to regular followers and full-time cult teachers.
Many BKs like to defend Shiva Baba (god of BKs) that he expects nothing in return from BKs. Really?
Shiva Baba expects EVERYTHING from regular BKs – money, time, dressing, marriage (husband & wife becomes brother & sister i.e. no sex, no new children), and ultimately isolation from ‘impure’ family members, relatives and friends – i.e. the 100% surrendered life of BKs.
Therefore, BKs (like many other cults) have no life of their own, with most major life decisions made for them through ‘Shrimat’, and totally controlled by Dadis, Senior BKs, and BK Centre-In-Charges.
NOTE: Most regular Brahma Kumaris are expected to follow all the strict discipline (‘Maryadas’) and strict cult instructions from BK Seniors (‘Shrimat’).
But not all BKs are ‘pakar‘ (Hindi for strong: in all discipline, daily Murli classes, celibacy, service).
There are many different levels of Brahma Kumaris students – from VIP-Celebrity types who don’t follow any BK Maryadas (strict discipline e.g. 4am meditation, celibacy, strict vegetarian) to regular followers and centre-based resident BK teachers.
