It all began with an unusual request: “Could you film everything about me until I die?” Masahiro Tanaka was a palliative care doctor and Buddhist priest who was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He was an end-of-life specialist who helped thousands of patients die peacefully. Now he had to face his own impending death. The film crew set out to document an “ideal death”, but what they witnessed was quite different. This program offers an unflinchingly honest look at human nature at its most vulnerable.
“I flew to Hong Kong and rushed to see Brenda with the high hope of helping her fight for her life. But when I arrived at ICU Ruttonjee Hospital, she was in a coma. One and half hours later, the doctor came. He said they had done all they could have done for her.
I remember the doctor advising me and asking for my permission to DNR Brenda, my late wife if her heart fails – as it’s pointless to prolong her life for maybe just a few more minutes.
All her major organs i.e. kidney, lungs had failed or failing (except her heart and brain) from toxic contamination from a perforated intestines caused by Crohn’s Disease. Brenda always wanted to die before me. That was our Soul Agreement. We agreed that if one of us were a “vegetable”, we will give permission to “pull the plug”.

Citizens of one of the happiest countries on Earth are surprisingly comfortable contemplating a topic many prefer to avoid. Is that the key to joy?
On a visit to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan, I found myself sitting across from a man named Karma Ura, spilling my guts. Maybe it was the fact that he was named Karma, or the thin air, or the way travel melts my defences, but I decided to confess something very personal. Not that long before, seemingly out of the blue, I had experienced some disturbing symptoms: shortness of breath, dizziness, numbness in my hands and feet. At first, I feared I was having a heart attack, or going crazy. Maybe both. So I went to the doctor, who ran a series of tests and found…
“Nothing,” said Ura. Even before I could complete my sentence, he knew that my fears were unfounded. I was not dying, at least not as quickly as I feared. I was having a panic attack.

What I wanted to know was: why now – my life was going uncharacteristically well – and what could I do about it?
“You need to think about death for five minutes every day,” Ura replied. “It will cure you.”
“How?” I said, dumbfounded.
“It is this thing, this fear of death, this fear of dying before we have accomplished what we want or seen our children grow. This is what is troubling you.”
“But why would I want to think about something so depressing?”
“Rich people in the West, they have not touched dead bodies, fresh wounds, rotten things. This is a problem. This is the human condition. We have to be ready for the moment we cease to exist.”
Places, like people, have a way of surprising us, provided we are open to the possibility of surprise and not weighed down with preconceived notions. The Himalayan kingdom is best known for its innovative policy of Gross National Happiness; it’s a land where contentment supposedly reigns and sorrow is denied entry. Bhutan is indeed a special place (and Ura, director of the Centre for Bhutan Studies, a special person) but that specialness is more nuanced and, frankly, less sunny than the dreamy Shangri-La image we project onto it.

Actually, by suggesting I think about death once a day, Ura was going easy on me. In Bhutanese culture, one is expected to think about death five times a day. That would be remarkable for any nation, but especially for one so closely equated with happiness as Bhutan. Is this secretly a land of darkness and despair?
Not necessarily. Some recent research suggests that, by thinking about death so often, the Bhutanese may be on to something. In a 2007 study, University of Kentucky psychologists Nathan DeWall and Roy Baumesiter divided several dozen students into two groups. One group was told to think about a painful visit to the dentist while the other group was instructed to contemplate their own death. Both groups were then asked to complete stem words, such as “jo_”. The second group – the one that had been thinking about death – was far more likely to construct positive words, such as “joy”. This led the researchers to conclude that “death is a psychologically threatening fact, but when people contemplate it, apparently the automatic system begins to search for happy thoughts”.
None of this, I’m sure, would surprise Ura, or any other Bhutanese. They know that death is a part of life, whether we like it or not, and ignoring this essential truth comes with a heavy psychological cost.

Unlike many of us in the West, the Bhutanese don’t sequester death. Death – and images of death – are everywhere, especially in Buddhist iconography where you’ll find colourful, gruesome illustrations. No one, not even children, is sheltered from these images, or from ritual dances re-enacting death.
Ritual provides a container for grief, and in Bhutan that container is large and communal. After someone dies, there’s a 49-day mourning period that involves elaborate, carefully orchestrated rituals. “It is better than any antidepressant,” Tshewang Dendup, a Bhutanese actor, told me. The Bhutanese might appear detached during this time. They are not. They are grieving through ritual.
Why such a different attitude toward death? One reason the Bhutanese think about death so often is that it is all around them. For a small nation, it offers many ways to die. You can meet your demise on the winding, treacherous roads. You can be mauled by a bear; eat poisonous mushrooms; or die of exposure.
Another explanation is the country’s deeply felt Buddhist beliefs, especially that of reincarnation. If you know you’ll get another shot at life, you’re less likely to fear the end of this particular one. As Buddhists say, you shouldn’t fear dying any more than you fear discarding old clothes.

Which isn’t to say, of course, that the Bhutanese don’t experience fear, or sadness. Of course they do. But, as Leaming told me, they don’t flee from these emotions. “We in the West want to fix it if we’re sad,” she said. “We fear sadness. It’s something to get over, medicate. In Bhutan there’s an acceptance. It’s a part of life.”
Ura’s lesson, meanwhile, stuck with me. I make it a point to think about death once a day. Unless I find myself especially stressed, or engulfed in an unexplained funk. Then I think about it twice a day.

If you know that you have another chance of life, you’ll fear nothing, you want and desire nothing as you can’t bring anything physical to the Afterlife or to the next lifetime.
Reincarnation puts many personal and global problems and issues into a much bigger perspective. Individuals will go with the natural flow of Karma. Countries will not be in a urgent hurry to over-develop as we have a few more billion years before Earth dies.
Brenda and I didn’t have any children – she had Crohn’s Disease and would die from child birth as she was quite thin. Yet I felt like I have many, many children in the form of countless graduates and followers. I like to marry again,but I don’t feel the big need to have my own children in this lifetime – It’s not meant to be.
Whenever I feel depressed or need a boost of inspiration, my best and easiest remedy is to watch a film which covered death, dying, sickness, disasters, crises, or scenes where people are killed.
Laozi said “To live fully, you must be willing to die first!” This is the Yin & Yang of the Universe.
Identifying The 27 Big Karmic Debts [Twin Souls Part 74]
Traditionally all religions talk about Karma in one version or another.
Karma (Sanskrit: कर्म; IPA: [ˈkərmə]; Pali: kamma) means action, work or deed; it also refers to the spiritual principle of cause and effect where intent and actions of an individual (cause) influence the future of that individual (effect). Good intent and good deed contribute to good karma and future happiness, while bad intent and bad deed contribute to bad karma and future suffering.
Karma is closely associated with the idea of rebirth in many schools of Asian religions. In these schools, karma in the present affects one’s future in the current life, as well as the nature and quality of future lives – one’s saṃsāra (the soul’s total history of past lives and reincarnation).
With origins in ancient India, karma is a key concept in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, and Taoism.
In Islam it’s called qada and qadar. Christianity also teaches morals such as reap what one sows (Galatians 6:7) and live by the sword, die by the sword (Matthew 26:52). In Spiritism, karma is known as “the law of cause and effect”, and plays a central role in determining how one’s life should be lived. Spirits are encouraged to choose how (and when) to suffer retribution for the wrong they did in previous lives.
How we know of this without remembering we had the choice is ambiguous. Disabilities, physical or mental impairment or even an unlucky life are due to the choices a spirit makes before reincarnating (that is, before being born to a new life. [source: Wikipedia]
Afterlife Secret: You reap the return of Karma only when you are in a human body (either in this or future lifetime), but never in the Afterlife. The simple reason is you need a human body to experience Karma (either in this current or future lifetime), and in the afterlife you do not have a human body and do not have any human activities or feelings.

It’s best to confess to a priest, Karmic Whisperer, or have the courage to admit it publicly and the Truth will set you free. For example, many victims of sexual harassment felt liberated when they confessed publicly as in the shocking case of Hollywood film mogul Harvey Weinstein, who is accused of rape and abuse dating back decades.
● “Parental Karmic Debt” – we all owe our parents or foster parents big time as they brought us up, feed us, and paid for our education. Therefore, Parental Karmic Debt should be within your Top 20 Karmic Debts but for some, it is within their Top 3 Karmic Debts.
● “War/ Military Karmic Debt” – this is a collective debt of warring countries. The Mass Killings of 1965-66 of 500,000 to over 1million by Suharto and his army will have to pay for their atrocities in Purgatory (The 5th Dimension), and/or in future incarnations.
● “Relationship/Betrayal Karmic Debt” – when you had huge fights or very intense relationships (you are likely settling “Karmic Relationships” with a specific individual); when you break someone’s heart; being controlled by an authority figure, parents, spouse, boyfriend/ girlfriend, parents, ruthless boss.
● “Marriage/Love Relationship Karmic Debt” – be warned: as parents if you stop a true love of your child, or your choice of arranged marriage fails, the Karma is on you.
● “7 Deadly Sins Karmic Debt” –when you are you are a Slave to the 7 Deadly Sins are Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Laziness, Anger, Jealousy, and Arrogance.
● “Vice Addiction Karmic Debt” – when you are addicted to The Big 8 Addictions: Luxury Lifestyle, Shopping, Affairs, Gambling, Drinking, Smoking, Vaping, Drugs, Prostitution, Internet, Gaming, and all forms of addictions.
“Many people are willing to pay the price of Karma of enjoying a vice.” Example 1: Smokers are willing to pay the price of Health Karmic Debt of potential lung cancer. I’ve heard about my crossed over wife Brenda’s Ah Vor (Portuguese for Granny) was a chain smoker and lived until over 90 years old. So she didn’t pay a heavy price for smoking, while someone who suffers from passive smoking might young from lung cancer.
It all boils down to“Karmic Intention”. In real estate, it’s location, location, location. In Karma, it’s intention, intention, intention.
Example 2: If you are willing to pay for prostitutes, visit nightclubs, or watch porn excessively, you will have to pay the Vice Addiction Karmic Debt of not having a real fulfilling sexual relationship with a girl friend.
Example 3: You could “cheating” when you are willing to pay the price of spending excessive time on your business or spending many hours on surfing the net and Facebook. Object affairs happen when the cheating partner focuses his or her time and energy on something other than the relationship. It could be work, social media, or even your smartphone. ● “Health Karmic Debt” – long-term illnesses, sufferings, pain (note: not all sufferings are karmic settlements); health problems, mental illnesses.
● “10 Commandments Against Evil Karmic Debt” – when you violate the commandments of “worshipping” Evil or Money, misusing God’s name (10,000-fold punishment e.g. Jihadist Terrorist karmic punishment), Dishonor to Parents, Murder, Violence, Adultery, Stealing, Lying, False Witness, and Coveting.

● “Corruption-Crime-Cronyism-Torture-Scandal Karmic Debt” – if you are a President, Prime Minister, Pope your return of karmic return is 10,000-fold than normal.

Identifying Your very tough periods in your life as Karmic Life Lessons that you must pay. [Twin Souls Part 73]
Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind.
This is especially applicable to people who take you for granted, who use you, who abuse you, who crossed the line, and who are ungrateful.
Why be so cruel you ask?
Actually you are being “kind”, by having the courage to be the first friend to offer them a chance for not hurting others. In any case they are totally blind and deaf to your words of wisdom. Try as you may to prevent them from falling but fall they will! It’s their choice to fall, or rise.
Life lessons are such that they must be learnt the hard way, there are no shortcuts. One must pay one’s karmic debt one way or another.
Reflect back on the very tough periods in your life (it could be a “return of your past Bad Karmic punishment”).
Here is a list for reflection:
● when you were very poor, hungry, when you can’t pay your rent.
● when you suffered any forms of financial set back (business closure, business partner cheating, loss from a monetary con-job, corruption backfiring).
● loss of possessions.
● accidents, injuries
● sufferings (note: not all sufferings are karmic settlements)
● long-term illnesses
● facing tough politics, being controlled/suppressed by a boss, team conflicts
● being controlled by an authority figure, spouse, boyfriend/ girlfriend, parents, ruthless boss.
● any jail time (whether guilty or framed), court punishment.
● divorce settlement, legal fines.
● health problems, mental suffering, grieving from death of loved ones.
● when you had huge fights or very intense relationships (you are likely settling “Karmic Relationships” with a specific individual).
● when you were betrayed by someone really close (you may have owed this person in some past lives).
● when you lived a very strict disciplined life, tough military life (you may be paying for your past violent acts), vegetarian diet (it may be a sign that you abused animals in the past, or you saw animal sufferings and made some life choices).

I like to share my own tale of two Karma Love Stories that have come true.
This is the first time I’m sharing these 2 private Karma Love Stories which will surprise many readers, graduates, and friends.
Last weekend when I took my Mum and brother Jimmy back from Hong Kong to Ipoh, our hometown in Malaysia, she retold 2 old stories by a famous Karma Psychic Reader.
My Mum asked the Psychic about my joining a very strict religion called Brahma Kumaris Raja Yoga Centre when I was young. I was then a very strict vegetarian, celibate by choice (no sex), and I woke up for 4am meditation everyday.
The First Karmic Love Story about the Monk and his Pet Pig
The Psychic replied by telling my mum the Karma Story of the Monk and his Pet Pig. And assured my Mum that the priest would never kill to eat the pig as it is his pet.
The Karmic Price of being Super Rich And Super Powerful
The Psychic read some of my karmic past lives and found a recent time when I was very rich, very powerful like an Emperor with an Empress and many concubines – but in my later life I lost everything including my fortune, wife and family.
My 10 years of austere, hard disciplined, pure vegetarian, celibate life (“return of my Bad Karmic punishment”)
I had to pay my karmic punishments in this lifetime by being a super strict celibate monk for at least 10 full years in my youthful prime. In that 10 years I had to experience the worst politics (the Regional Head really gave me a very tough time, team conflicts, mutiny, betrayals), no sex, self-imposed hardships, and severe restrictions on earning and spending. I was forced to learn many leadership and marketing skills to survive.
I was a Copywriter in J Walter Thompson and Leo Burnett, but in the evenings I operated a charitable meditation centre in Lorong Maarof, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, and later in Hong Kong. I gave 50% of all my earnings to the charity.
Married to God but Falling in Love
Towards the last 3 years in Raja Yoga, I had to struggle with my strict vow of celibacy (I was “married to God”), and my sexuality as I had fallen in love with Karen. She was an enlightened ordinary student who challenged the truth about everything I believed in Raja Yoga at that time.
We secretly wrote love letters (I kept them at my parent’s home which my father gave me in later years ). Karen was my conscience of truth. Only a few confidante knew about this.
Eventually I chose to walk away from love. I could have married Karen. She was my first serious love.
I was surrendered to God and my celibacy vow to the religion’s strict principles and mission. The religion did not even allow married couples to have sex.
So my Mum was reassured by the Psychic that I had to be a very strict vegetarian for 10 years punishment to pay off my Karma.
But at the end of my 10 years with the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University I would have a choice to continue in B.K. Raja Yoga for the rest of my life; or to stop and begin a whole new life.
The Psychic was right!

The Second Karma Story of being Controlled Gripped by the Emperor
My Mum’s asked about my current lifetime. The Psychic then told the second Karma Story of being stepped on by the Emperor. The Emperor was symbolically stepping on me or suppressing me so that I couldn’t rise up to the highest level of success.
Eventually I would escape the controlling grip of the Emperor but the Psychic did NOT reveal full details and how I would escape… until now
… until when I Twin Soul Whispered and asked Angel Brenda to complete my Karmic Soul jigsaw puzzle…
A Seemingly Random Dream
On 2 March 2016, someone shared her vivid and intense dream of both of lovers sailing across some ocean. The couple was very worried to death. It reminded my Mum’s Psychic story of the Emperor. In the dream the woman was there to help me escape. She asked innocently how a girl could help me escape the Emperor. My intuition was it’s not about physical strength, but maybe she was a High Priestess type.
Later I saw visions from my Whisperings with Brenda, my guardian angel – the missing prequel part of the Psychic story.
I saw visions of me saving the Emperor’s young, carefree, and very beautiful favorite Princess. She was spiritually talented like a High Priestess-type, and she would accurately counsel the Emperor at some critical warring and financial situations.
I saw me personally saving the life of the Emperor’s Princess.
The Emperor, the Empress, and the Princess were indebted to me for saving the Princess. I was the ChiefHeierophant–Strategist-Wizard to the Emperor. I was in my 60s.
The Princess and I quickly developed a strong bond. We shared many common interests especially in divination, healing, and experimenting with many herbs and potions.
Then we both fell in love with each other!
When the Emperor found out, he had judgments about our age difference, although the Emperor’s first wife, the Empress was agreeable. He tried to break up our romance. He continued a series of suppressible control of all my official powers for a few years while keeping a very close eye on me in the castle, yet consulting me in critical matters. He kept me extremely busy so I would see less of his daughter. I was absolutely loyal to the Emperor.
To cut the “torn lovers” story short, the Princess used her Third Eye and psychic Seventh Sense to find an auspicious time to escape together to another place as both could not live anymore without each other and wanted to get married.
The Best Way to Elope with a Princess
The most auspicious time and way to escape was sailing through the ocean, with no one chasing us as there would be no traces or sightings at all on the ocean. Her masterplan worked, although both of us were scared to death for being caught eloping.
I think there are a lot more to the story… but I have no further details yet…

Like why didn’t the Princess simply insisted to get approval from the Emperor and her approving and influential mother Empress to marry me when she came of age – since she was the Emperor’s favorite child, and I was the Emperor’s trusted Strategist – my logical mind wondered…
I sensed that I had paid my most of my past karmic dues.
Firstly, with my 10 years of austere, hard disciplined, celibate life in my prime youth.
Secondly, I feel totally free from the “Emperor’s grip”since Brenda crossed over in 2013.
My Karmic Obstacles are removed.
I have no fear.
It’s Time for Wizard Chaen to Fly,
and to Guide Others to Fly.
I feel all Karmic Obstacles are removed so I can fly to fulfill my destiny and Twin Souls’ Vision-Mission-Values.
Visions of my future wifeand Twin Flame is predestined
For many years, I’ve seen visions and déjà vu that I would remarry after Brenda died. I sensed she would die around 60 and she would die first, but she crossed over much earlier in 2013.
Many people have asked me whether Brenda will be jealous if I remarry since she is very present within me.
The answer is I have full blessings from her to have my future wife before Brenda crossed over and now (we were separated 3 times, but we never divorced). And Brenda as a guardian angel have no human body, therefore Angel Brenda has no human activities or feelings of jealousy.
All the dots of my past Karma are connecting. I wonder the vivid dream and the Psychic stories are about my future Twin Flame…
