The meaning of “Dong Tai Kor Lin”. The Winter Solstice normally falls on 21 or 22 December. 9×3 = 27 days after the Winter Solstice is traditionally believed to be the coldest day in China and Hong Kong (around January 26). 9×9= 81 days after Winter Solstice is the end of Winter and the start of Spring (around March 13). The Spring Equinox normally falls on 20 March.
