Robert’s first trip back to hometown Ipoh, 2 years after studying in Melbourne. His Mum smelt a rat that he went on an Indian pilgrimage a few weeks earlier. A fortune teller told Robert’s Mum that he will come to a major crossroad at his 10th year with BKs, where he will decide to either stay on forever with the BKs, or walk away from a “high ranking status equivalent to a Roman Catholic Bishop”, in BK, to a totally different world. At the 10th BK year, Robert choose the road less traveled, the new road. Robert’s first job-career in Hong Kong, in one of the 3 biggest stock brokerage firms, Hoare Govett Asia.Woodside, the famous ghost colonial house up Mt. Parker, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong Island, where Robert stayed and operate his first business.Robert’s first startup, called Business Dynamics Group, with 2 Malaysian Trainers David Ng and Andy Bandara. He sold his first Hong Kong property to fund the business, but it failed.
